Sewing assembly seams is the specialty of the double-chain stitch machine 171. It allows for exceptionally high sewing speeds. Thanks to the automatic adjustment of the lower thread feed to the stitch length, excellent stitch formation is always guaranteed.

Automatic thread cutting—standard equipment depending on the subclass—and stitch condensation ensure a secure start and finish of the seam in the material.

Additional features include smooth operation even at high speeds and easy thread guiding.
