R488 A – FOLDING GROUP

A fabric folding system for producing pillow covers using a motorized mobile clamp.

The operator places the pre-cut fabric on the table, sets the length, and activates the folding cycle. (Depending on the type of pillow cover to be produced, one or two folds may be required).

The folded fabric can be directly inserted into the R488B sewing unit for overlocking the pillow covers.

This group reduces folding times, ensures precise fabric placement, and provides good usability speed.

R488 B – SEWING GROUP

This group consists of two Pegasus Overlock sewing heads (right and left).

The operator manually inserts the pillow cover folded using the folding device, and by pressing the pedal, the machine automatically overlocks both sides simultaneously.

Finished pillow covers are stored on a bar at the back of the machine.

The machine is equipped with thread presence control.

The distance between the two sewing heads is mechanically adjustable.

R488 significantly shortens production times by allowing a single operator to perform folding and sewing operations for pillow covers at one workstation.
