Textile ribbon printers – Italora

The thermal transfer printing technology involves transferring graphics using a thermal transfer ribbon or printhead. The substrate can be paper, textile (satin ribbons), or nylon ribbons. When printing with a dye ribbon, heat activates the pigments in the ribbon, and pressure transfers the color onto the substrate. When printing directly onto heat-sensitive materials (e.g., paper labels), only the printhead is used to transfer the graphics onto the substrate through heat and pressure.
